Our Mission

At Therapeutic Alternatives we know how important it is to take care of yourself and we also understand how important it is to take care of the community around us.

That's why TA is proud to announce that starting in June of 2017 we will be donating $1.00 from every session at our practice to one of these four non profit organizations.

Each client will get to choose which non-profit they would like their sessions contribution to go towards.

When we give we grow

Founded by legendary conservationist John Muir in 1892, the Sierra Club is now the nation's largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization -- with more than two million members and supporters. Our successes range from protecting millions of acres of wilderness to helping pass the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. More recently, we've made history by leading the charge to move away from the dirty fossil fuels that cause climate disruption and toward a clean energy economy. www.sierraclub.org/about

Every day, throughout the greater Hartford area, there are hundreds of people who have found themselves homeless due to domestic violence, eviction, unemployment or mental illness – the overwhelming majority often women and children.

Since 1982, My Sisters’ Place has provided a safe and nurturing environment for those who find themselves without a home through a unique combination of services and support, guidance and empowerment, encouragement and outreach.
