Gregory Prus, LMT

Greg is a graduate of Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy of Cromwell.
He enjoys alternating between Deep Tissue techniques and a relaxing Swedish flow.  "I find this combo allows the client to dial into their body and relax into specific, deeper work. What I enjoy most is Orthopedic focused work, which is very specific work to help address musculoskeletal pain stemming from stress, injury, chronic pain or headaches. Many times, the point of massage is to help us to move without pain, so incorporating movement and specific muscle work, I find, is a game changer."

Once obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree, Greg realized something was still missing. After exacerbating a low back injury, he went on to work with a massage therapist who changed his outlook on wellness and self-care.

“I discovered how beneficial massage therapy could be as part of a holistic regimen, specifically its ability to bring about a greater sense of body awareness. I realized not every pain or restriction in my body required invasive methods or medications. Receiving massage was a game changer for my personal health journey. To me, massage is about facilitating healing and client empowerment – it’s a partnership.”

Greg has pursued continuing education in Prenatal Massage and Thai for the Table. He is also COVID-19 Guidelines and First Aid/CPR Certified.ic Massage, Oncology Massage, and Hydrotherapy modalities including stone or bamboo. He also plans to become re-certified in personal training to bring additional benefit to his clients.
